Welcome to Cross Pest Control of Tampa, where our story began in 1968 with a vision and a commitment to excellence. Founded by B.L. Raburn, our company started as a family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing top-notch pest control services. Beginning in Hillsborough County, we initially focused on General Household Pest Control and later expanded our expertise to include Termite Control. B.L.’s leadership and contributions are etched in the history of our company, shaping us into the reputable organization we are today.
Pioneers in our field, He proudly introduced the Original 6 Month Roach and Ant service, setting the standard for effective, affordable pest management. Our exceptional service and a stellar reputation, solely fueled by word of mouth, quickly propelled us into becoming a household name in the Tampa Bay Area.
In 2000, B.L.’s son Rodney Raburn assumed the role of President and Owner, steering the company through challenges, including a recession and economic downturn. His leadership and unwavering dedication played a pivotal role in shaping Cross into the respected entity it is today. In 2018, the legacy continued as Rodney's children, Jordan Murad and Tanner Raburn, assumed ownership. Jordan, now serving as CEO, and Tanner, as Vice President, bring fresh perspectives and a forward-thinking approach to continue the legacy of excellence.
Stepping into their roles, they have led Cross through significant foundational changes, positioning us for success in the years to come. In 2019, we went paperless by integrating our operations into a cloud-based CRM which allowed our operations to run remote. As we navigated the challenges of the global pandemic, our Executive Team crafted a forward-thinking strategy to transform Cross into a scalable household name across the USA. We rebranded to our current logo and branding in late 2020. Our Protection Plans launched in Spring of 2021 and have become the staple household service.
